Global Visions Festival Marketplace

The Marketplace is located on the main level, City Centre east, across the hall from CBC and is open Friday 6pm - 9 pm; Saturday noon - 5pm, and Sunday noon - 4pm. It's not hard to find and well worth the visit!

Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society Edmonton (CPAWS) - Our mandate is to maintain biodiversity and wilderness in Alberta through the establishment and monitoring of protected areas and the promotion of ecologically-sound natural resource use.

Canada Tibet Committee - works for freedom and human rights of the Tibetan people. Tibet urgently needs the support of the Canadian Government and People now.

Canada World Youth - is a leader in developing international educational programs where young people learn through experience.

Change for Children Association - is an Edmonton based NGO that has worked for 30 years in sustainable community development in Latin America and Africa, and a Global Education Program in Canada.

Council of Canadians - Founded in 1985, the Council of Canadians is Canada's largest citizens' organization, including a chapter here in Edmonton. We promote progressive policies on fair trade, clean water, safe food, and public health care.

Documentary Organisation of Canada (DOC) - is a national non-profit professional and advocacy organization dedicated to support the art of independent documentary filmmaking and filmmakers in Canada.

Earth's General Store - is now celebrating its 15th Anniversary in providing social and environment friendly products, while supporting and promoting conscious consumers. 10832 - Whyte Avenue (upstairs)

Public Interest Alberta (PIA) - is a province-wide organization focused on education and advocacy on public interest issues

The Sierra Club of Canada, Prairie Chapter - Our mission is to develop a diverse, well-trained grassroots network working to protect the integrity of our global ecosystems. We are currently involved in the Oil Sands Public Consultations in Alberta, the Climate Action Tour and the Environmental 911 Hotline.
