Description
Everything's Fine is an engaging portrait of Dr. Seydou Konaté, a self-styled "bush doctor" who is the only medical practitioner serving more than 40,000 inhabitants in an isolated
region of southern Mali.
Portraying Konaté's everyday routine in the Community Health Care Center in Nongon, a small village without electricity or telephones, isolated by two rivers with no bridges, and a 10-hour drive on a dirt road from the capital of Bamako, Everything's Fine offers revealing insights into the daunting challenges of health care in Africa today.
With an affable personality and engaging sense of humour that defies the magnitude of the situation he and his nation face, Konaté is inspiring in his commitment to quality
healthcare and the communities he serves.
