Description
A raw and personal film, Chichester's Choice follows filmmaker Simonee Chichester as she investigates the life of her homeless father, Edgar, who abandoned her at the age of six.
Twenty-three years later, Simonee journeys to Guyana, Edgar's birthplace, and to Brazil, where he now survives on the streets on the outskirts of Sao Paulo, to find and reunite with her father in the hopes of forgiving and understanding him, while coming to terms with who she is.
Simonee's personal quest for resolution with her ailing father touches on the universal issues of homelessness, alcoholism and abandonment as she journeys to a place of
understanding, forgiveness and acceptance.
